Roof Insulation Thermal Insulation Glass Wool Roll
The glass wool insulation material is mainly made of quartz sand, feldspar, sodium silicate, boric acid, etc. After high-temperature melting, a fiber cotton shape of less than 2um is obtained, and then a thermosetting resin binder is added to press and high-temperature stereotypes to produce various shapes and specifications of boards, felts, and pipe products. The surface can also be pasted with aluminum foil or pvc film and so on.
Glass wool has light bulk density, low thermal conductivity, large absorption coefficient and good flame retardancy. It can be widely used in heating equipment, constant temperature of air conditioner, hot and cold pipeline, refrigeration insurance and heat preservation, heat insulation and sound insulation of buildings.
After treatment, the glass wool board can be made into sound-absorbing ceiling board or sound-absorbing wall board. Generally, it is common to use glue to cure the periphery of the 80-120kg/m3 glass wool board and then wrap the fireproof sound-permeable fabric to form a sound-absorbing wallboard that is both beautiful and easy to install. There are also sound-absorbing ceiling panels formed by spraying sound-transmitting decorative materials directly on the surface of 110kg/m3 glass wool. Whether it is glass wool sound-absorbing wall panels or sound-absorbing ceiling panels, it is necessary to use high-density glass wool and undergo a certain strengthening treatment to prevent the board from deforming or being too soft. This type of building material has good decorative properties. It also retains the good sound absorption characteristics of centrifugal glass wool, and the noise reduction coefficient NRC can generally reach above 0.85.
