Glass wool is a yellow building material that is a cotton-like blanket or board made of molten glass strands. Depending on the application, it can be made into rolls or rectangular boards.

Then the glass wool board and the glass wool felt are not different in essence, but because the application places are different, the glass wool felt is generally rolled, and the length is generally about 10 meters to 30 meters, and the length is determined according to the density and thickness. Glass wool board is generally rectangular, the length and width are relatively fixed, 1.2 meters long and 0.6 meters wide, or 2.4 meters long and 1.2 meters wide.

For example, glass wool felt is relatively long, and is generally used for thermal insulation of roofs, which is more convenient to apply. Glass wool boards are generally used on walls or air conditioners.  

In addition, the density of glass wool board and glass wool blanket is also different. The density of glass wool board is about 48kg/m3 to 96kg/m3, and the density of glass wool blanket is generally smaller, ranging from 10kg/m3 to 48kg/m3. The texture of glass wool felt is relatively soft, like cotton, the texture of glass wool board is relatively firm, and it is more convenient to fix during the construction process.  

The packaging of glass wool blanket and glass wool board is also different. The packaging of glass wool blanket is special. Generally, the packaging for export needs to be evacuated and covered with a woven bag, in this case, we could load more products when loading a container. The packaging of glass wool board is similar at home and abroad, usually in plastic bags.
