Fiberglass panels and rock wool ceilings are good sound-absorbing and noise-reducing ceilings, and their appearance is similar. They are built-in insulation materials, coated with a layer of acrylic paint on the surface, and edge-banded around them. If you only look at the surface, you can hardly tell the difference. The uses of fiberglass board and rock wool ceiling are very similar, both can be used together with painted keel, or used as a hanging board.

Both fiberglass board and rock wool ceiling can be made into various shapes, used as hanging boards, and the shape, thickness and color can be customized.

1) The glass fiber board is based on glass wool board, and the rock wool ceiling is based on rock wool board, and the raw materials are different. The color of glass wool board and rock wool board is different.

2) Secondly, the difference in thickness. The minimum thickness of the fiberglass board can be 12mm, while the minimum thickness of the rock wool ceiling is 15mm.

3) Prices vary. Rock wool ceilings are more expensive than fiberglass panels. This can be decided according to the budget of the project which one to buy.
