Ceramic fiber blanket, also known as aluminum silicate fiber blanket, is called ceramic fiber blanket because one of its main components is alumina, and alumina is the main component of porcelain. Ceramic fiber blankets are mainly divided into ceramic fiber blowing blankets and ceramic fiber spinning blankets. Ceramic fiber spinning blankets are better than ceramic fiber blowing blankets in terms of thermal insulation performance due to long fiber filaments and low thermal conductivity. Ceramic fiber spinning blankets are used in most thermal insulation pipeline construction.
The ceramic fiber blanket adopts special aluminum silicate ceramic fiber filament to be formed by a special double-sided needle punching process. After the double-sided needle punching process, the degree of fiber interweaving, delamination resistance, tensile strength and surface flatness are greatly improved. The fiber blanket does not contain any organic bonding agent to ensure that the ceramic fiber blanket has good manufacturability and stability under high temperature and low temperature conditions. Ceramic fiber blanket has low thermal conductivity, low heat capacity, excellent chemical stability, excellent thermal stability, and shock resistance, excellent tensile strength, and excellent sound absorption, making it an excellent material among heat preservation and refractory materials.
Ceramic fiber blanket can be used in:
1. The door seal and the furnace mouth curtain of various thermal insulation industrial kilns.
2. High temperature flue, duct bushing, expansion joint.
3. High temperature heat insulation and heat preservation of petrochemical equipment, containers and pipelines.
4. Protective clothing, gloves, hoods, helmets, boots, etc. under high temperature environment.
5. The heat shield of the automobile engine, the wrapping of the exhaust pipe of the heavy oil engine, and the composite brake friction pad of the high-speed racing car.
6. Sealing packing and gaskets for pumps, compressors and valves that transport high-temperature liquids and gases.
7. High temperature electrical insulation.
8. Fireproof sewing products such as fire doors, fire curtains, fire blankets, mats for sparking and thermal insulation coverings.
9. Thermal insulation, thermal insulation materials and brake friction pads used in the aerospace and aviation industries.
10. Insulation and wrapping of cryogenic equipment, containers and pipes.
11. Insulation and fire barriers in important places such as archives, vaults, and safes in high-end office buildings, and automatic fire curtains for fire protectio.
