Building thermal insulation materials take measures to reduce the building’s indoor heat emission to the outside by taking measures to the building’s outer protective structure, thereby maintaining the building’s indoor temperature. Building thermal insulation materials play an important role in creating a suitable indoor thermal environment and saving energy in building thermal insulation.
Insulation materials include: glass wool, extruded polystyrene foam (extruded board), molded polystyrene foam (ordinary foam board), sprayed rigid foam polyurethane, rigid foam polyurethane insulation board (product), foam glass, foam Concrete (foam mortar), chemically foamed cement board, lightweight aggregate insulation concrete (ceramsite concrete, etc.), inorganic insulation mortar (vitrified microbead insulation mortar), polystyrene particle insulation mortar, mineral wool (rock wool), phenolic aldehyde Resin board, expanded perlite insulation mortar, inorganic active wall insulation materials, etc.
Our country’s national standard GB8624-97 divides the combustion performance of building materials into the following grades.
Class A: Non-combustible building materials: Inorganic materials that hardly burn, like glass wool, mineral wool, rock wool.
Class B1: Flame-retardant building materials: Flame-retardant materials have a good flame retardant effect. It is difficult to catch fire in the air or under the action of high temperature, and it is not easy to spread quickly, like special treatment xps board, special treatment pu board.
Class B2: Flammable building materials: Flammable materials have a certain flame retardant effect. When exposed to an open flame in the air or under the action of high temperature, it will catch fire immediately, which will easily lead to the spread of fire, such as wooden pillars, wooden roof trusses, wooden beams, wooden stairs, etc, like xps board, pu board, eps board.
Class B3: Flammable building materials: Without any flame retardant effect, it is extremely flammable and has a great fire hazard.
Building thermal insulation materials keep houses warm in winter and cool in summer, with low thermal conductivity, large heat storage coefficient, and high bonding strength, which are energy-saving and environmentally friendly, as well as safe and applicable.
