Class B1 fire protection:

This kind of material has good flame retardant effect, even if it encounters a fire, it is more difficult to start a fire, and it is not easy to spread quickly, and at the same time, it can stop burning immediately after the fire source is blocked. Materials that can reach this level include phenolic, rubber powder polystyrene, and specially treated extruded polystyrene (XPS) and polyurethane (PU).

Class B2 fire protection:

This kind of material has a certain flame retardant effect, it will burn immediately when encountering a fire or high temperature, and it is easy to spread the fire quickly. Materials that can reach this level include wood, molded polystyrene board (EPS), ordinary extruded polystyrene board (XPS), ordinary polyurethane (PU), polyethylene (PE) and so on.

The construction should be in accordance with the construction requirements. If it requires class A construction material, then we should choose material with class A, and if it requires class B construction material, then we should choose material with class B. You can’t cut corners. Although there will be differences in cost, the quality of building materials should still be guaranteed for the safety of personal and property.
