Rock wool performance characteristics:

 1.Thermal insulation performance is the basic characteristic of rock wool and mineral wool products. The thermal conductivity of rock wool is between 0.043 and 0.047 at room temperature.

 2.The combustion performance of rock wool and mineral wool products depends on the amount of combustible binder. Rock wool and mineral wool are inorganic mineral fibers and are non-combustible. In the process of producing products, organic viscosity is sometimes added. Caking agents or additives have a certain impact on the combustion performance of the product.

 3.Rock wool and mineral wool products have excellent sound insulation and sound absorption properties. The sound absorption mechanism is that this product has a porous structure. When sound waves pass through, friction occurs due to flow resistance, so that part of the sound energy is covered by fibers. The absorption hinders the transmission of sound waves.
